Copper
Copper offers the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of any engineering metal. ETP copper (C11000) is the standard grade; oxygen-free and phosphorus-deoxidised grades are used for welding, brazing and vacuum applications.
When to Choose Copper
- Electrical conductivity is the priority
- Heat must be transferred efficiently
- Parts are busbars, terminals or heat exchangers
- Brazing or welding requires a low-oxygen grade
