Processing We Do on CR Steel
OneKaizen slits CR coil in-house to the strip width your next operation needs, and cuts it to length. Cold rolling itself is done at our partner mills.

Cold Rolled Steel & Slit Coils Questions
What is CR steel and how is it different from HR?
CR steel is rolled further at room temperature after hot rolling. It has a smoother surface, tighter thickness and better formability than HR.
What thickness of CR sheet do you supply?
From 0.25 to 3.3 mm, as sheet, coil or slit coil.
What widths can you slit CR coil to?
OneKaizen slits in-house to widths from 50 to 1,600 mm, to your tolerance on width and burr.
Which CR grade is right for deep drawing?
CR3 / DC04 or CR4 / DC05 suit most deep drawn parts. For the most severe draws we supply DC06 and IF steel (DC07).
What is the difference between CR1, CR2 and CR3?
They are IS 513 grades with rising drawability. CR1 is commercial quality, CR2 is drawing quality and CR3 is deep drawing quality.
Do you supply CR slit coils across India?
Yes. OneKaizen delivers slit coils to plants across India, including Pune, Chennai, Gurugram and Rajkot, and exports to buyers abroad.
Can you supply CR steel for spring or hardened parts?
Yes. High-carbon grades such as SAE 1075 and SAE 1095 are available in cold rolled strip.
Do CR coils come with test certificates?
Yes. Every coil ships with the mill test certificate, traceable to the coil number.
