High Alloy Steel Questions

Which high alloy grades do you supply?

Inconel® 625 (Alloy 625 / UNS N06625), Alloy 718, 600, 601, 800, 800H, 825, 400, K-500, C-276, C-22 and Alloy 20, plus Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 2507.

What sizes of high alloy bar do you supply?

Round bar from Ø 29 to 500 mm and square bar from 40 to 480 mm. Rolled bar goes up to Ø 350 mm and larger sizes come forged.

What is the difference between Inconel® 625 and Alloy 718?

Alloy 625 is solution strengthened and resists seawater and chemical attack. Alloy 718 is age hardened and gives much higher strength up to about 650 °C.

Is Duplex 2205 the same as UNS S32205?

Yes, 2205 is the duplex grade covered by UNS S31803 and S32205. State which designation your specification calls for when you order.

Which alloy should I use for sour oil and gas service?

Alloy 625, Alloy 718 and Alloy 825 are the usual choices, with Super Duplex 2507 for lower-cost chloride service. Tell us the NACE conditions and we match the grade.

Do high alloy steels come with test certificates?

Yes. Every bar ships with a mill certificate showing chemistry and mechanical tests, traceable to the heat number. PMI and UT are available as specified.

Can you supply high alloy steel across India and for export?

Yes. OneKaizen delivers to plants across India and exports to buyers abroad with export packing and documents.

Can you cut or finish high alloy bar?

Yes. OneKaizen cuts bar to length in-house and finishes selected grades as bright bar. Forging and machining go through our partners.

Sizes, grades and tolerances above are our standard range. Other sizes and grades are available on request. Final values are confirmed against the order standard and mill certificate.
