What is bright wire?
Bright wire is steel wire drawn through dies to an exact diameter with a clean bright surface. It feeds cold heading, forming and spring machines.
What sizes of bright wire do you supply?
Drawn wire from Ø 1.5 to 37 mm, made from wire rod of Ø 5.5 to 40 mm.
Which grade of bright wire is used for bolts and screws?
Cold heading grades such as SWRCH 10A to 45K, and boron grades like 10B21 and 10B33. We match the grade to your fastener class.
Do you do wire drawing in-house?
Yes. OneKaizen draws bright wire in-house from wire rod, to your finished diameter.
Can you supply bright wire for spring making?
Yes. OneKaizen supplies SAE 9254 spring wire and high carbon grades such as SAE 1065 to 1080, drawn to size.
