OneKaizen cuts 300 series stainless to your size and can peel or turn bar in-house. We inspect chemistry and dimensions before it ships.

Applications
SS 300 Series Questions
What is SS 300 series stainless steel?
It is the austenitic group of stainless steels, such as 304 and 316. They contain chromium and nickel, resist corrosion well and are easy to form and weld.
What is the difference between SS 300 and SS 400 series?
The 300 series is austenitic and non-magnetic, with better corrosion resistance and formability. The 400 series is ferritic or martensitic, magnetic and lower in nickel. Some 400 grades harden by heat treatment.
What is the difference between 304 and 316?
SS 316 adds molybdenum, so it resists chlorides and marine conditions better than SS 304. SS 304 costs less and suits general use.
Which 300 series grades do you supply?
OneKaizen supplies 301, 303, 304/304L, 304H, 309S, 310/310S, 316/316L, 316Ti, 317L, 321 and 347. Ask us for any other grade.
What forms and sizes are available?
OneKaizen supplies bar, sheet, plate and forgings to order. Sizes depend on the grade and the mill, so send us the form and size and we confirm before we quote.
Do SS 300 series products come with certificates?
Yes. Every lot ships with a mill test certificate showing chemistry and mechanical tests, traced to the heat number. PMI and third-party inspection are available on request.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order depends on grade and size. We confirm it on enquiry.
Grades, sizes and condition are confirmed against your order standard and the mill certificate before we quote.
