Processing on Wire Rods
OneKaizen draws wire rod into bright wire in-house. Rolling and coiling happen at our partner mills. Tell us the finished wire size and we'll choose the starting rod.

Wire Rods Questions
What sizes of wire rod do you supply?
Hot rolled wire rod in coils from Ø 5.5 to 40 mm. Coil weight is set by order.
Which wire rod grade is used for bolts and fasteners?
Cold heading grades such as SWRCH 10A to 45K and boron grades like 10B21 and 10B33. We confirm the grade against the fastener class you make.
What is the difference between wire rod and bright wire?
Wire rod is the hot rolled coil. Bright wire is that rod drawn through dies to a smaller, exact diameter with a clean surface.
Do you supply SAE 1008 and SAE 1018 wire rod?
OneKaizen supplies SAE 1006 to 1080 low, medium and high carbon wire rod. Tell us the grade and coil size and we'll quote.
Can you supply wire rod for spring wire?
Yes. OneKaizen supplies SAE 9254 and SAE 9260 spring grades, and high carbon rod such as SAE 1065 to 1080 for drawn spring wire.
Do you deliver wire rod across India?
Yes. OneKaizen delivers to plants across India, including Ludhiana, Mandi Gobindgarh, Rajkot, Coimbatore and Pune, and exports to buyers abroad.
Does wire rod come with a test certificate?
Yes. Every coil ships with a mill test certificate traceable to the heat number.
Can you draw the wire rod for me?
Yes. OneKaizen draws wire rod into bright wire in-house on suitable grades. Send us your finished wire size.
