Copper Questions
What is the difference between ETP and OF copper?
ETP copper (C11000) contains a small amount of oxygen and is the standard for electrical use. Oxygen-free copper (C10200 OF, C10100 OFE) has none, so it resists hydrogen embrittlement and suits brazing and vacuum work.
What is C12200 copper used for?
C12200 is phosphorus-deoxidised copper. It brazes and welds without embrittlement, so it is the standard grade for tube, plumbing and heat exchangers.
What copper sizes do you supply?
Round bar from Ø 6 to 200 mm and sheet and plate from 0.5 to 100 mm thick. We also cut to length.
Do you supply brass as well as copper?
Yes. OneKaizen supplies brass bar including CW614N, C36000 free-cutting brass, CW602N DZR and naval brass, alongside copper.
Which brass grade is best for machining?
C36000 (CW603N) free-cutting brass machines fastest. CW614N is the common European equivalent for turned parts.
Can you supply copper with a conductivity test?
Yes. OneKaizen supplies copper with conductivity tested and certified when your order specifies it.
Do you deliver copper across India and export?
Yes. OneKaizen delivers to plants across India and exports to buyers abroad with packing and documents to match.
Do you supply beryllium copper and copper-nickel?
Yes. OneKaizen supplies beryllium copper C17200, chromium copper C18200 and copper-nickel 90/10 and 70/30.
