ONE PARTNER, CONNECTED OPERATIONS

From Steel Mill
to Your Production Line.

OneKaizen's steel procurement process runs in six steps: source, select, process, support, plan and deliver. We source from many mills, process in-house and through partners, and deliver to your plant across India.

HOW WE WORK

How Does Our Steel Procurement Process Work?

OneKaizen turns a steel requirement into a supply plan. You send us the grade, size, quantity and application. We pick the mill, set the processing and finish, and agree the delivery date before the order moves.

You deal with one team for the whole job: what the material must do, how it should arrive and what happens to it before it reaches your plant. Our metallurgists are in the conversation from the first enquiry.

THE OPERATING PATH

Six Steps from Mill Order to Delivery.

Each step below says what we do and what we need from you.

01 / SOURCE

Step 1: We Source the Steel from the Right Mill.

OneKaizen sources steel from the domestic and international mills below. Our metallurgists check your grade, standard, product form, size and application, then compare mill options for you.

DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL MILL SUPPLIERS

DOMESTIC INDIA

  • JSPL
  • Tata Steel
  • Sunflag Steel
  • Arjas Steel
  • Laxcon Steels
  • JSW
  • AMNS
  • Tata BSL

INTERNATIONAL GLOBAL

  • ItalyABS - Acciaierie Bertoli Safau
  • ChinaCITIC Pacific Special Steel
  • KoreaHyundai Steel
  • KoreaSeAH Steel

We confirm grade availability, quantity and lead time for each enquiry.

02 / SELECT

Step 2: We Select the Grade for Your Application.

Grade, size, specification and end use go into one discussion. Your purchase team gets a clear basis to compare options.

OneKaizen makes a complex material requirement easy to act on.

01 / REQUIREMENT

Clarify What You Need

We read your grade or standard, size, product form, quantity, finish and drawing.

02 / APPLICATION

Understand Where It Goes

We ask about the component and the next operation, so grade and processing suit the use.

03 / OPTIONS

Compare Real Options

We line up mill, processing and order details, then tell you what we can supply.

03 / PROCESS

Step 3: We Process the Steel for Your Next Operation.

OneKaizen processes in-house and through partners: cold drawing, peeling, grinding, cut to length, slitting and heat treatment, plus machining to your drawing through partner machine shops. You receive material or parts ready for your next operation.

In-house capability Bright Bar Manufacturing OneKaizen makes bright bars from hot rolled stock sourced from our partner mills. We finish them by cold drawing, peeling or grinding to Ø 8–160 mm round or 18–50 mm AF hex, at h9 to IT6. In-house capability Cold Drawing Cold drawing pulls hot rolled bar through a die at room temperature. We cold draw round bars from Ø 8 to 90 mm to h9–h11 under EN 10278, in carbon and alloy grades. In-house capability Bar Peeling Bar peeling cuts the outer skin off a hot rolled round bar. We peel bars from Ø 22 to 160 mm, typically to h11, so the decarburised layer and surface defects are gone before you turn or forge. In-house capability Precision Grinding OneKaizen centreless grinds steel bars from Ø 8 to 160 mm to IT9–IT6, with Ra 0.8–0.4 μm surface finish. Ground bars suit shafts, pins and spindles that go to assembly with little or no further turning. In-house capability Cut to Length OneKaizen cuts steel sheet, coil and bar to the lengths on your drawing, in carbon, alloy, stainless and non-ferrous grades. The grade stays identified, and the pieces arrive ready to load into your line. In-house capability Steel Slitting OneKaizen slits cold rolled coil from 0.3 to 3.3 mm thick into strips from 50 to 1,600 mm wide. You get clean edges and controlled coil weights for your press, roll forming or tube line. In-house capability Bright Wire Processing OneKaizen draws wire rod of Ø 5.5–40 mm into bright steel wire from Ø 1.5 to 37 mm. We supply it in coil, in grades such as SAE 1006–1080, SWRCH, 10B21 and 100Cr6, for fasteners, springs and cold heading. In-house capability Heat Treated Bars OneKaizen supplies annealed, normalised and quenched and tempered (Q&T) bars in carbon, alloy and bearing steels. We heat treat in-house and through partners, and every lot ships with the hardness on the certificate. Through partner machine shops Machining OneKaizen supplies machined parts as well as bar. We source the grade, prepare the bar and have the part turned, milled and drilled to your drawing at partner machine shops, then inspect it before delivery.

04 / SUPPORT

Step 4: Our Metallurgists Support You.

Technical questions come up early, so the specification is settled before supply is confirmed.

Engineering and purchasing talk in the same conversation.

  • We check grade, standard and material condition.
  • We ask about the application and your downstream manufacturing.
  • We set processing steps and dimensional requirements.
  • We clear up drawings, documents and open questions.

05 / PLAN

Step 5: We Agree the Order Plan Before Dispatch.

Specification, processing scope and delivery needs go into one order plan that matches your enquiry.

01Confirm the requirementGrade, size, quantity and specification.
02Fix mill and processingSource, processing scope and order details.
03Agree deliveryDestination, schedule and documents.

We confirm availability and lead time with the mill and processing partner for each order.

06 / DELIVER

Step 6: We Deliver to Your Plant.

OneKaizen moves the material and keeps you updated, so your team knows what is arriving and can plan the next production step.
