Processing We Do on Hex Bars
OneKaizen cold draws bright hex in-house, then cuts and inspects it to your length. Hot rolling of the base bar and any heat treatment run through our partner mills.

Hex Bars Questions
What sizes of hex bars do you supply?
Hot rolled hex from 18 to 60 mm AF and bright hex from 18 to 50 mm AF, in lengths of 3–12 m. We also cut to length.
What does AF mean on a hex bar?
AF is across flats, the distance between two opposite flat sides of the hexagon. It is the size you order by.
Which grades do you supply as hex bar?
EN8, EN1A, SAE 1018, SAE 1215 and SS 304, 316 and 303, among others. Search the catalogue for the full list.
Is EN1A hex bar good for turning?
Yes. EN1A is a free-cutting steel made for high-speed automatic lathes, with a good chip break and surface finish.
What is the difference between hot rolled and bright hex?
Hot rolled hex has a scaled surface and a looser size tolerance. Bright hex is cold drawn to a clean surface and a tighter tolerance to EN 10278.
Can you supply stainless steel hex bar?
Yes. OneKaizen supplies SS 304, 316, 303 and 416 hex bars within the bright 18–50 mm AF range.
Do you deliver hex bars across India?
Yes. OneKaizen delivers to plants across India, including Rajkot, Ludhiana, Chennai, Bengaluru and Delhi NCR, and exports to buyers abroad.
Can you cut hex bars to length?
Yes. OneKaizen cuts hex bars to your length in-house and dress the ends.
