Incoloy Alloys Questions
What is Incoloy?
Incoloy is the trade name of a family of nickel-iron-chromium alloys. They resist oxidation, carburisation and, in the 825 and 925 grades, acids and chlorides.
Which Incoloy grades does OneKaizen supply?
OneKaizen supplies Alloy 800, 800H, 800HT, 825 and 925. Send us the grade or UNS number on your order.
What is the difference between 800, 800H and 800HT?
They share a base chemistry. 800H and 800HT carry controlled carbon and a coarse grain, which gives better creep strength at high temperature. 800HT has tighter aluminium and titanium limits.
Incoloy or Inconel: which should I choose?
Incoloy has more iron, so it costs less and suits furnace and process service. Inconel carries more nickel and suits higher temperature and stronger corrosion. Tell us the service and we will advise.
What forms and sizes do you supply?
Round bar from Ø 29 to 500 mm, with sheet, plate and forgings to order. Rolled bar goes up to Ø 350 mm and larger sizes come forged.
Do you supply certificates?
Yes. OneKaizen ships every lot with a mill certificate showing chemistry and mechanical tests, traced to the heat number.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order depends on grade and size, and OneKaizen confirms it on enquiry. OneKaizen supplies to the UNS or ASTM grade from approved mills. Incoloy is a trade name of Special Metals Corporation.
Final grades, sizes and condition are confirmed against the mill's range and your order before we quote.
