Processing Before Shipment

How an Export Order Works
- Step 1
Enquiry and Specification Review
You send the grade, size, quantity, standard and application. OneKaizen reviews the specification and asks about any point that is unclear before it quotes.
- Step 2
Mill Selection and Quotation
OneKaizen selects the mill that suits the grade and the product. The quotation states the price. The Incoterm and payment terms are agreed on the quotation.
- Step 3
Production and Processing
The mill supplies the material. OneKaizen then processes it at Chakan to your size, tolerance and condition, and keeps the heat number on every lot.
- Step 4
Inspection and Documents
OneKaizen tests to your specification and issues the certificate. Your nominated inspection agency can witness tests on request. Export documents are prepared in parallel.
- Step 5
Export Packing and Dispatch
OneKaizen packs the lot for export and marks it. It then dispatches the lot by the transport mode agreed on the order.
- Step 6
Shipment Tracking and After-Sales
OneKaizen follows the shipment to your site and shares the status. If there is a quality claim, OneKaizen reviews it against the certificate and the heat number.

Importing Steel from India: Questions
Can I import steel bars from India in small quantities?
Yes. The quantity OneKaizen can supply depends on the grade, the size and the product, because some sizes come from stock and others from a mill run. Send your requirement and OneKaizen confirms the quantity, price and delivery on the quotation.
Which certificates come with export steel from India?
Every lot from OneKaizen ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate. It is traceable to the heat number. Test reports for chemistry, tensile, hardness, ultrasonic, decarburisation and dimensions are added as your specification requires.
Can my inspection agency witness tests?
Yes. Your nominated inspection agency can witness tests on request. Tell OneKaizen which tests you want witnessed when you send the enquiry, so that OneKaizen can plan the testing and the dispatch around the visit.
Which Incoterms does OneKaizen use?
The Incoterm, such as FOB or CIF, is agreed on each order. State the term you prefer in your enquiry. OneKaizen shows it on the quotation, together with the payment terms, so both sides confirm them before production starts.
How does OneKaizen match EN, ASTM/AISI and JIS grade names?
OneKaizen works with EN, AISI/SAE and JIS names, for example EN19 and 4140, or EN31 and 52100. Equivalent grades in different standards can differ in their chemistry limits, so OneKaizen checks each match against your drawing before it quotes.
How is export steel packed?
OneKaizen bundles the steel, protects the ends and applies rust prevention. Each bundle is marked with grade, heat number and size. Loading as a container or as break-bulk cargo is agreed on the order. Packing can follow your instructions.
